The main objectives of CIRCE are:

• to enhance collaboration among Italian researchers interested in Extreme Value Theory;
• to support early-career researchers through networking and collaborative opportunities;
• to promote italian research in extreme value statistics at the international level.

CIRCE promotes and coordinates a variety of scientific activities:

• periodic workshops and meetings;
• seminars and thematic sessions (also online);
• collaborative research initiatives and informal working groups;
• organization of conference sessions related to extreme value modeling;
• sharing of resources, references, and teaching material.
